Justin Dyer is a Professor of American Politics at the University of Missouri and the director of the Kinder Institute on Constitutional Democracy. He is author of several books including: American Soul: The Contested Legacy of the Declaration of Independence, Natural Law and the Antislavery Constitutional Tradition, Slavery, Abortion, and the Politics of Constitutional Meaning. He is a contributor to the Claremont Review of Books.
