Michael Anton on Tucker Carlson, Trump Tweets After Flight 93

Michael Anton's After Flight 93 book is making headlines. President Trump tweets his thumbs up; Anton appears on Tucker Carlson to discuss.

Claremont Institute Senior Fellow Michael Anton, appeared on Tucker Carlson Tonight this week to discuss his new book, After the Flight 93 Election.

On Twitter, President Trump gave his thumbs up to the book.

The book itself is an extrapolation of Anton’s provocative essay in the Claremont Review of Books, “The Flight 93 Election,” along with his “Restatement on Flight 93.”

While it reiterates and affirms many points of the original essay, in the book Anton presents the positive ideal that inspired him—a distillation of his thinking on Americanism, refined over decades.

He lays out the foundational principles of the American tradition, examines the biggest threats to its survival, and underscores the necessity of continuing to defend it.
