How a fraudulent ruling class plundered our most precious inheritance.
“A Long Train of Abuses”
The definitive case against the Left and its allies.
It’s easy to forget the litany of ways that the institutional Left and our “representatives” in government have repeatedly betrayed the American people over the last eight years. There’s no need to single out individuals. “They” are legion: the Democrats, the compromised courts that ignore or invent the law, the Intelligence Community that interferes in our elections, the leftist foot soldiers burning and looting our cities, the unelected “experts” who try to rule Americans by fiat, the “non-government organizations,” Big Tech, the useful idiots, and corporate media that lie to us about all of it.
As the election approaches, citizens should once again take inventory of the long train of abuses we have endured by that dishonorable group.
They denied the outcome of the 2016 election, spreading the baseless conspiracy theory that it was “hacked by the Russians.”
They announced the day before Trump’s inauguration that they intended to impeach him.
They falsely insisted—for years after the riots in Charlottesville—that Trump had called white nationalists “very fine people.”
Even after the Steele dossier had been thoroughly debunked, they expanded the investigation over whether Trump had “colluded” with Russia, insisting falsely that the “walls were closing in” to undermine public confidence in the new president and interfere with the 2018 midterm elections.
They changed the rules regarding when and which “whistleblowers” can submit evidence of alleged wrongdoing by the president in order to secure an impeachment for a phone conversation with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky.
They falsely said Trump knew that the Russians had bounties on American soldiers and did nothing.
They feigned horror at photos of “kids in cages” at the Southern border, when those images were actually taken of children detained at the border during the Obama Administration.
They tried to stop Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court—and ruin his life—by amplifying completely baseless accusations of sexual misconduct in the early 1980s.
They buried a story of a leftist mass shooter who nearly killed Republican congressmen playing a baseball game, insisting that his choice of targets was a mystery.
They told you that COVID-19 was nothing to worry about (January 2020).
They killed Americans’ livelihoods by locking down society and warning that COVID-19 would kill citizens en masse—but they insisted that wearing a mask would do nothing to stop the spread and would create a shortage for health care providers (March/April 2020).
They told you that COVID-19 required every decent American to wear something (anything!) over their face to protect themselves and others (May 2020 and on).
They told you that you should wear two masks (January 2021).
They said that the idea that COVID-19 was developed through gain-of-function research in China and leaked by a lab was a baseless conspiracy theory—and that you were a racist for entertaining it.
After the death of George Floyd and three months of lockdown, they told you that “racism” is also a pandemic and that mass protests without masks were completely acceptable and would have no impact on the spread of the virus.
For months, they let “protestors” loot private stores, commit violence against citizens, and burn buildings and police stations—and they called it the “mostly peaceful” “voice of the unheard.”
They told you that a COVID vaccine would take years to produce and that Trump was rushing the process to win reelection.
They grudgingly admitted COVID-19 was probably the result of a lab leak in Wuhan.
They said that America’s ongoing “original sin” of “systemic racism” required a “fundamental” “dismantling” of the nation’s institutions and traditions.
They rigged the Democratic primary (again): when it seemed Bernie Sanders would win the 2020 nomination, nearly every other candidate dropped out of the race, allowing Joe Biden to get a last-minute victory in South Carolina and then cruise to the convention.
They allowed Biden to campaign from his basement allegedly to adhere to pandemic protocol, but actually to hide his rapidly declining mental and physical health from the public.
They illegally changed election procedures in many states. Those changes—allowing unsecured drop boxes for ballots, sending out mail-in ballots to every voter on the rolls, and counting ballots without signatures and late-arriving ballots—almost uniformly advantaged Democratic candidates.
They aggressively censored true information on social media that might hurt Biden’s campaign—the most glaring example was Hunter Biden’s laptop, which exposed vast corruption in the Biden family but was completely erased from the public sphere.
They released an official report that detailed plans to overturn the election by force in the event of a “clear Trump win.”
They denied mountains of evidence that there was election interference in key battleground states, falsely calling 2020 our “safest, most secure election ever.”
As they did with Bill Clinton, they ignored claims of sexual assault when Tara Reade accused Biden of digitally penetrating her against her will.
They fixated on accusations of Trump’s sexual impropriety, even when there was no evidence.
They never made any progress in investigating who placed pipe bombs outside the RNC and DNC headquarters on the night of January 5, 2021.
They admittedly refused additional security and police presence to protect the Capitol after rumors that there might be attempts to disrupt the certification of the election on January 6.
They hid footage that showed law enforcement at the Capitol allowing protestors to enter the building.
They falsely claimed that January 6 protestors had killed law enforcement officials.
They insisted without evidence that the riot was an “armed insurrection.”
They aggressively investigated and prosecuted regular Americans who peacefully occupied the Capitol that day, punishing many to the fullest extent of the law (a stark contrast with the leniency shown to violent offenders in the George Floyd riots).
They haphazardly abandoned our military effort in Afghanistan, leaving Americans and various friendly Afghans to die, along with tens of billions of dollars’ worth of military equipment which the Taliban used to retake territory they had lost.
They filled government positions with a menagerie of kleptos, weirdos, and freaks—making clear that DEI considerations were the primary basis on which political appointments would be made (rather than merit).
They allowed biological men and boys in women’s bathrooms—and called you a bigot for noticing.
They equipped federal agents with the legal cover necessary to target parents (who were angry about district policy regarding LGBTQ students) at school board meetings, characterizing them as domestic terrorists.
They invited naked transpeople to dance on the White House lawn to celebrate Pride Month.
They conspired to execute an unprecedented, armed search of a former president’s personal residence in pursuit of “classified documents”—a length to which they wouldn’t go with Hillary Clinton’s servers only a few years before.
To combat allegations of political bias, they also searched Biden’s residence for classified documents that had been mishandled…but unlike Trump, they gave him advance notice.
They discovered that Biden mishandled classified documents, but, as in the Clinton case, they decided against indictments because the president was an old man with a bad memory who meant well.
For the third consecutive time (!!), they rigged the Democratic primary, working to ensure that Biden would face no opposition for the nomination.
They schemed to remove President Trump—the rightful GOP nominee—from the ballot, all the while insisting that they were “defending our democracy.”
They engaged in a proxy war with Russia, sending over a hundred billion American dollars to assist Ukraine in deflecting an invasion that almost certainly wouldn’t have happened had Biden not taken office only a few weeks prior.
They reinstituted the catch and release policy at the border, resulting in an influx of up to 15 million illegal immigrants in less than four years.
They deliberately sent illegal immigrants into the interior of the nation—people with criminal records the U.S. previously deported who then went on to commit shocking acts of violence against American citizens (and in some cases, children).
They ran cover for the federal government’s goal of keeping the border unprotected, and pushed back when Texas implemented measures that would significantly curtail illegal immigration in the state.
They put up thousands of illegal immigrants in luxury hotels and gave them debit cards with thousands of dollars—all funded by taxpayers.
They adopted a policy of detente with Iran, allowing an influx of capital that likely funded the October attack on Israel.
They repeatedly promised to address inflation and then falsely told Americans that they had successfully addressed inflation.
They ignored the Supreme Court ruling that found the executive branch had no power to cancel student loans and proceeded to write off many millions in debt—a lawless vote-buying scheme that transferred wealth from the working class to the college educated.
They indicted Trump on imaginary violations of the law, convicting him on felony charges by reinterpreting statutes and manipulating accepted standards of evidence and judicial procedure.
They leaked the Dobbs decision that would overrule Roe v. Wade—an attempt to intimidate Supreme Court Justices and get them to reconsider before issuing the judgment.
They refused to cover the resulting attempt on Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s life.
They promised to identify and punish the Dobbs leaker. They never did.
They continued to oppose any and all state-level restrictions on abortion, with some states allowing for abortion up to the moment of natural birth.
They insisted that Joe Biden was as sharp and smart as he had ever been, even in the midst of a near daily flow of video that indicated severe cognitive and physical decline.
They falsely accused Biden critics of manipulating video clips that showed his poor health, calling them “cheap fakes.”
They played some role in the attempted assassination of Donald Trump in Butler, Pennsylvania, ensuring that such a plot could be successful.
Although live television broadcast images of Trump getting shot in the ear, they trafficked in baseless conspiracy theories that he “wasn’t hit by a bullet” or that the Trump team had manufactured the whole spectacle.
After Biden’s humiliating debate with Trump, they enacted an internal coup: Obama colluded with Harris to threaten Biden that they would remove him from office with the 25th Amendment if he wouldn’t abandon his campaign for a second term.
They pushed through the “virtual nomination” of Harris—who didn’t win a single primary delegate in 2020 and didn’t appear on a single state’s primary ballot in 2024.
They easily and eagerly took Biden’s name off the ballots across the country…then told Robert F. Kennedy Jr. that there was no way to take his name off when he asked that they do so.
Only two months after a sniper attack that almost took his life, they kept Trump’s security detail understaffed—to such an extent that a second would-be assassin was able to get within shooting range of the former president on his golf course.
They refused to provide additional aid to the southeastern states in the aftermath of a catastrophic hurricane—only days after a new multi-billion dollar aid package to Ukraine.
They sued states like Virginia and Alabama when they tried to remove non-citizens from the voter rolls.
Don’t Forget to Remember…
While the fence-sitters will maintain that there is no “they” conspiring to fundamentally transform the nation, this litany of offenses is far too long to chalk up to mere coincidence. Taken as a whole, this list is clear evidence of well-oiled collusion between media, government, Big Tech, and foreign entities to attack constitutional governance and the American tradition.
As you head to the polls, remember all the damage that they have wrought. Remember that no one was ever held accountable. Finally, remember that it doesn’t have to be this way…and vote.
