Joshua Mitchell is a Washington Fellow at the Claremont Institute Center for the American Way of Life and a professor of political theory at Georgetown University, where he has been Chairman of the Government Department and Associate Dean of Faculty Affairs at the School of Foreign Service in Qatar. During the 2008-10 academic years, he served as the Acting Chancellor of the American University of Iraq, Sulaimani. Mitchell is the author, among several other books, of the forthcoming Identity Politics: An American Awakening, Without God, and Without Forgiveness.
